In our increasingly digital world, more businesses than ever find themselves in need of a reliable, efficient way to process electronic signatures. An electronic signature is a “real,” legally binding signature that can be applied to a document or agreement without both parties needing to be in the same physical location. Faxing isn’t required for an electronic signature.
Your business can start accepting e-signatures in just a few minutes after implementing one of the two following apps we’ll be discussing today. Let’s take a look at them both:
Xerox Connect for DocuSign App
Even with the rapid growth of electronic signatures—and digitization in general—the majority of businesses (55%) still report that their processes are mostly or entirely paper-based. The Xerox Connect for DocuSign App has been designed with these needs in mind, empowering offices to integrate e-signatures with their paper processes.
The app allows users to browse and print documents right from the control panel of the Xerox machine itself. Scanning directly to DocuSign is also possible, creating a two way street for input and output of signed documents. The app also allows for further control with features that allow the user to add and remove recipients, add signature fields to existing documents, and more—also all right from the MFP panel.
Xerox Connect for SignNow App
Speed and convenience are important when processing signed documents, especially when those documents are time sensitive. The Xerox Connect for SignNow app makes both of those goals possible thanks to its ease-of-use, robust feature set, and intuitive user interface. Thanks to its single sign-on (SSO) functionality, users can save even more time.
The app allows you to digitally sign documents, including the placement of initials and dates at desired locations, browse and print documents stored on your SignNow account, and upload documents to the account as well. Document previewing ensures that your documents and signatures are accurate, and you can even scan to predetermined templates. All of these features are, of course, available from the MFP control panel.
Want Even More Apps For Your Xerox Multifunction Printer? Here’s a Few Ideas
Processing e-signatures is just one of the many impressive things your Xerox MFP can do. While it’s true that these devices are feature-rich “out of the box,” their functionality can truly be customized thanks to the many apps available through the Xerox App Gallery.
