First, go to the Chrome menu, reachable by pressing the three little dots next to your profile picture. In the menu, select settings. In the settings area, scroll/swipe all the way down and find a button for “Advanced Settings.” Once in this panel, go to “Printer Settings” or in some versions simply “Printers.”
You’ll notice that in order to set up a printer, you need to know its IP address (the numbers that identify a computer or other device—like a printer—on a network).

Finding your Xerox printer’s IP address is equally as easy as finding your Chromebook’s printer settings, but it’s not quite as straightforward because there are many different kinds of Xerox printer.
Generally, you should be able to simply tap the “Home” button on the printer’s display, select “Device”, and then select “About,” which is a screen that gives you some information about your printer. On this screen, you’ll find the IP address of the printer. Once you have it, enter it into your Chromebook printer settings and you’re ready to print.
If that process doesn’t work for your particular model of Xerox printer, visit the official Xerox support website and look up your printer manual, which will have instructions on how to find the IP address.
